What do you see when looking at this drawing?
Here is what I see:
- Beginning writing skills as the child began to draw the lines for her rain. I watched her fine motor skills as she was drawing using her pincer grasp.
- She drew herself and her friend. I can see her making friends, creating connections and strong bonds with a trusting students.
- She prefers to hangout with this one individual and cares for her as she writes her name in the bubble, protecting her from the downpour. Here she is developed in social emotional skills.
- She knows how to write her letters although not in the correct order. 
- She is understanding human anatomy showing a clear head, body, arms, feet, hair, eyes, nose, and mouth.
- She is ready for Kindergarten this upcoming school year.

I was also the one that had to be there for my brother. These two shaped my childhood because they were part of me. Breastfeeding for Educators (U.S. Compared to the U.K)

Breastfeeding   When becoming a mother, I never had a second thought about breastfeeding. It was a natural thing that occurred between mother and child. I would hear stories of some women’s breastfeeding journeys and the ease or difficulty of keeping up with the needs of their child. I would have never thought that this would be a problem for me until it was. I had to stop breastfeed my daughter when she was 7 months old because I couldn’t keep up with my job and produce enough milk to feed my child for the next day at her daycare. This added more stress and effected my milk flow which ultimately caused me to call it quits. It was more difficult afterwards since my daughter had a milk-based allergy and the formula she could drink cost me $80 a week. Her insurance gave me the run around and ultimately wouldn’t cover the cost of formula and if I wanted to be successful at my job I needed to spend less time trying to find places to pump and store my milk and more time in the clas...
